Mayor Jack P. Longino is the 3rd generation of Longino’s in College Park. Mayor Jack P. Longino is the great grand son of the late George F. Longino who served as mayor from 1914 to 1918. Mayor Longino states that his Biggest Contribution to Community is Creating a positive atmosphere in city government that allows citizens to participate and capitalize on the city’s position as gateway to the busiest international airport in the world and his Biggest Challenge Facing Community is Building the city’s tax base back up by replacing neighborhoods and businesses demolished by airport expansion.

Keeping current mixed-use residential/retail development projects on track and managing economic growth. Business/Community Goal: Representing College Park as a diverse community with deep roots to commercial/financial developers who want to invest in College Park.
