Vincent Jing-Yen Liu

Mr. Vincent Jing-Yen Liu is the current Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta. He started his assignment at the TECO office in midtown on December 19 2016. Director General (DG) Liu arrived in Atlanta from Taipei with his family to assume the post.

He oversees TECO’s Atlanta jurisdiction that covers the Southeastern states of Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. In addition to consular services, TECO Atlanta is also dedicated to promoting cooperation and mutual understanding between Taiwan and the Southeast United States in economic, cultural and other areas. The Economic Division of TECO Atlanta also helps to promote Taiwan’s economic relations with Florida.

DG Liu was previously posted on official assignments to Moscow, Washington DC, Singapore and New York, and he has earned two advanced degrees: Master of Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University, 2005, and Master of International Relations as well as a BA in Diplomacy from National Chengchi University in Taiwan.

He is married to Gloria Chiao and has two children.
