Georgia Center for Child Advocacy Yvonne Bryant Johnson is the 2009 Chair of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy. She is a compassionate leader who brings a wealth of leadership experience and advocacy for children and women to the position. Ms. Johnson served on the merger committee thSat created the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy from two organizations: the Fulton County Child Advocacy Center and the Georgia Center for Children. She has a passion for community service and has served as board chair of the following organizations: Youth Ensemble of Atlanta (YEA), Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), and SCELL (a Sickle Cell organization that was based out of the Grady Health System). In addition, Ms. Johnson serves on the board of the Atlanta Business League.

Ms. Johnson is President and CEO of Bryant & Associates, LLC, an executive coaching, facilitation services and training company located in Atlanta, GA. Her company successfully orchestrated the Atlanta Business League’s First Annual Congress on the State of Black Business in Metro Atlanta.

Since 1998 Johnson has shared 25+ years of corporate experience and business acumen to guide corporate executives and professional organizations toward sales, leadership development, and customer service excellence.

Johnson’s educational accomplishments include earning an MBA from Emory University, and attending Johns Hopkins University and the Universities of London and Ghana. She graduated with honors from Spelman College, and in 1996 was one of the first Spelman graduates to receive the Alumnae Achievement Award in business.
